Comment-to-DM Automation

Comment-to-DM Automation Turn comments on your Instagram and Facebook posts into private conversations. When someone comments a keyword you choose, the platform replies to their comment publicly and opens a DM (a private direct message) with them, where the AI bot takes over and continues the conversation. This is the equivalent of the "comment a keyword, get a DM" automations you may know from tools like ManyChat — except after the DM is sent, you get a real AI conversation that can answer questions, qualify the lead, and book or close, not just a fixed flow. Heads up: the Entry Points system has Instagram Comment and Facebook Comment rule types that will eventually handle this routing for every account. Whether they're live for you yet depends on where your account is in the routing rollout — check the Who Answers New Conversations panel on the AI Agents page. What You Need An Instagram Business account or a Facebook Page connected to the platform. For Instagram, your Instagram account and Facebook Page must be linked together inside Meta Business Manager ( business.facebook.com ). Comment-to-DM will not work until both are linked.
