Relaytiv credits pay for AI intelligence — the cost of generating an AI reply. One credit covers the AI processing for a conversation reply. Credits are not a charge for message delivery; WhatsApp messaging fees are billed separately by Meta at their published per-conversation rates, regardless of which WhatsApp platform you use.

How Credits Are Consumed

A standard AI reply uses under 0.5 credits. Longer or more complex replies — for example, a message that requires the AI to process a voice note, understand an image, or call a custom API function — may use slightly more. You can see per-conversation credit consumption in your analytics dashboard at any time.

You can set a per-conversation credit limit from your Relaytiv dashboard. Once a conversation reaches its limit, AI replies pause for that specific conversation — the rest of your inbox continues normally. This prevents any single conversation from consuming a disproportionate share of your monthly credits.

Credit Top-Up Packs

If your monthly credit allowance runs low, you can purchase a top-up pack at any time without changing your plan. Top-up packs are available in three sizes: 100 credits ($14), 500 credits ($60), or 1,000 credits ($110). Purchased top-up credits never expire while your plan is active. Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over.

WhatsApp Messaging Fees — What They Are and Why They Are Separate

WhatsApp conversation fees are separate from Relaytiv credits. These are charged directly by Meta (the channel operator) and vary by country and conversation type (service vs marketing vs utility). Relaytiv does not mark up or add a fee on top of Meta's rates. Your Relaytiv invoice shows AI plan charges only; WhatsApp fees appear on your Meta or BSP billing account separately.

WhatsApp Web (WA Web) connectivity carries no per-message delivery charge at all — it is included in your Relaytiv plan. International WhatsApp numbers can be purchased directly through Relaytiv at a credit cost shown at the time of purchase.

What Happens When Credits Run Out

When your credit balance reaches zero, AI replies pause. Your team can still respond manually from the shared inbox — all conversations remain accessible and your channels stay connected. You can purchase a top-up pack immediately to resume AI replies without waiting for the next billing cycle. We send a notification when your balance is running low so you have time to top up before AI pauses.
