Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 2023. By using Relaytiv, you agree to use the platform only for lawful business purposes and in a manner consistent with this policy. This Acceptable Use Policy works alongside our Terms of Service and Fair Usage Policy to define the boundaries of acceptable platform use.

1. Overview

Relaytiv is a business communications platform. It is designed for legitimate business-to-customer conversations: responding to enquiries, qualifying leads, booking appointments, and managing customer relationships. Use of the platform must remain consistent with this intent at all times.

2. Permitted Uses

Relaytiv is designed for legitimate business communications, including:

• Responding to customer enquiries and support requests
• Lead qualification and sales conversations with prospective customers
• Appointment booking, reminders, and confirmations
• Legitimate marketing communications to customers who have given consent
• Outbound follow-up sequences to opted-in contacts
• Service updates and notifications to existing customers
• B2B communications for sales, support, and account management

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension or termination:

• Spam and unsolicited messaging — Sending bulk unsolicited messages to contacts who have not given consent or have opted out.
• Illegal content — Sending or facilitating the distribution of content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise illegal.
• Harassment and threatening behaviour — Using the platform to harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate individuals or organisations.
• Impersonation — Impersonating other businesses, individuals, government bodies, or brands.
• Data scraping and harvesting — Scraping or harvesting contact data from third-party sources without explicit consent for use in messaging campaigns.
• Regulatory violations — Sending messages in violation of TCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, WhatsApp Business Policy, Instagram Platform Policy, or any other applicable law or platform rule.
• Restricted industries — Using Relaytiv for adult content, gambling, controlled substances, weapons, or other legally restricted products and services.
• Platform circumvention — Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the platform's security, rate limits, or technical controls.
• Reselling without authorisation — Reselling or sublicensing access to the Relaytiv platform without express written authorisation from Vitiv.ai.

4. Channel-Specific Rules

WhatsApp: All use of Relaytiv's WhatsApp integration must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp through our platform meets all applicable template, opt-in, and messaging frequency requirements.

Instagram: All use of Relaytiv's Instagram integration must comply with Meta's Platform Policy and Instagram's Community Guidelines. Automated comment-to-DM flows must only be used in ways consistent with Meta's published rules on automation.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this policy — whether by another user or a third party misusing our platform — please report it to us at hello@vitiv.ai. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this policy. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions: issue a warning, temporarily suspend the account, permanently terminate the account, or report the matter to relevant authorities. For serious or repeated violations, we may act without prior notice. Appeals or questions about enforcement actions can be directed to hello@vitiv.ai.
